Abstinence Cape Citrus Non-Alcoholic Spirit
With a desire to create a range of complex, sophisticated, and most importantly delicious non-alcoholic drinks, Abstinence have taken inspiration from the Cape Fynbos Floral Kingdom. This is a biodiverse region in the Western Cape of South Africa. Whilst it might be the smallest biological kingdom, its one of the most diverse in the world.
The western cape is also one of the world's largest exporters of Citrus fruits, so in their Cape Citrus edition, Abstinence have drawn on the diverse bounty of both the floral kingdom and the various citrus flavours.
The flavours come entirely from the botanical ingredients, and contain no added sugar, sweeteners or flavourings. Everything is natural, and from the Cape.
The key flavours in this drink are Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit, Buchu, Cassia, Pepper, Fennel and Ginger.
The flavour as can be expected from the name has a dominant citrus backbone to it. This is balanced by delicate notes of buchu, pepper and fennel. These all blend perfectly with a warm spice element from the cassia bark and ginger.

Perfect Serve
Perfect when served with a neutral tonic, or soda water (The Artisan Drinks Co works particularly well). Take a large glass filled with ice and add 50ml of the Abstinence. Gently pour over 100 - 150ml of tonic, and stir gently. Garnish with a slice of fresh citrus (your choice).
