Glen Talloch Choice Blended Scotch Whisky
As a blended whisky, Glen Talloch choice containsa a carefully selected blend of different types of single malts and grain whiskies. It is the malt whiskies which impact the most flavour to a whicksy, and is the reason why Glen Tallock add a high percentage (30%) of world-famous single malts (Balblair, Knockdhu and Speyburn) to their blend.
Their unique combination of malt and grain is matured in different oak barrels (required to be called Scotch Whisky) for a minimum of 5 years. This maturation process allows the natural aromas to develop. Their Master Blender ensures the combination occurs at just the right time to ensure the characteristic colour, aroma and flavour.
The result is a whisky which has a eye-catching gold colour. The aroma is soft and has hints of warm spice, caramel and citrus. On the palate this is an exceptionally well rounded whisky, with delicious hints of vanilla and toffee.

Perfect Serve
There's definitely no right or wrong way to enjoy this whisky, so experiment and find your favourite (neat, on the rocks, with soda or in the mix are all delicious).
For something a little different, try a Horse's Neck Cocktail. Fill a tall glass 3/4 with ice and add 45ml of whisky and 6 drops of Angostura Bitters. Peel a long slice of lemon zest, and place in the glass between the ice. Slowly pour 150ml of Ginger Ale (we like Double Dutch, but any will work if not too strong) into the glass and stir gently.
