The Demon's Share rum comes from Panama, and legend has it that in Panama, there are 7 Demons, friends for life and lovers of adventure (and of course rum), whose job it is to guard, promote and defend the best rum in circulation - The Demon's Share.
The Demon's Share 12 year rum is made from sugar cane moalasses and aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon, American oak barrels which brings a more intense flavour to the rum. La Recompensa Del Tiempo (the reward of time) has a powerful aroma of exotic dried fruits with caramalised apple, pear, orange, cacao and a hint of sweet tobacco. On the palate there is the delicious taste of liquorice, joined by cinnamon, sweet vanilla, tart rhubarb, cocao, hints of citrus and toasted wood.
