A lot of drinks come with a story, but none have a story quite like this.

Hell or High Water Rum was originally known as Ron Jeremy – it was based on a joke, from the Spanish word for rum (ron), and one of the most famous Rons in the world (if you know, you know). In hindsight and following his arrest for some very serious crimes, that was not the best name to choose, but that is not the only adversity these Jouko and Olli have faced in their rum journey. Even before this, they had overcome fire, earthquake, betrayal, death (almost) and the threat of bankruptcy at least a dozen times, but they simply refused to quit. They knew they had fantastic products, so created a new brand that reflects their story – willing to do whatever it takes to overcome difficulties or obstacles. That’s the definition of the phrase ‘’come Hell or High Water’’. A rough journey makes a smooth rum!

Hell or High Water XO Rum is a blend of super premium rums from Barbados, Trinidad, Jamaica and Guyana. Using hand-selected pot and column still rums, once blended, they are aged in American oak barrels (that were previously used for bourbon) for up to 15 years. The aroma has notes of rich sugarcane and oak. On the palate, the medley of tropical fruits, baking spices and brown sugar smoothly caress your tastebuds, leading to an enjoyable long finish.
