Suntory The Chita Whisky
Located on the Chita Peninsula (near Nagoya in Japan), the Chita distillery (which is owned by Suntory) is an inventive grain whisky distillery. They make a diverse range of high quality grain whiskies using two, three or four columns. They use three different types of grain whisky - clean, medium and heavy.
Each of these whiskies has been ages in a variety of different casks (sherry, bourbon and wine), each imparting unique flavours. They are then brought together to create The Chita Single Grain Whisky. Whilst easily enjoyed all year round, this definitely comes in to its own during the summer months.
On the nose this has honeydew melon, citrus notes and honeyed cereals. It is extremely smooth on the palate, with hints of vanilla sponge cake and honey sweetness. A touch of orchard blossoms lead through into a medium length finish, with lots of zest.

Perfect Serve
As with all whiskies, enjoy this as you feel is right for your palate. Served on the rocks, or with a little water does allow the flavours to open up - giving a refreshing edge to the drink.
