Alkkemist Gin

Distilled only 12 times a year, when the moon is at its largest. Alkkemist Gin is distilled with a strict methodology which helps to produce an Ultra Premium gin.

It starts with a base from grain, which is triple distilled to give a pure and smooth start. Alkkemist then use a quadruple distillation with traditional copper alembics. Only the heart of each distillation is extracted, which ensures a pure mixture that guarantees a perfect fusion between grain and the formidable blend of 21 carefully selected botanicals.

These botanicals each add something special. Samphire, sage, verbena, mahon chamomile, rose petals, muscat grape, balm, rock tea, sweet chamomile, thyme, fennel, juniper, angelica, cardamom, coriander, orange and lemon peel, mint, pennyroyal, chenille and agrimonia. Together, they blend to create exquisite taste sensation.

Alkkemist Gin was also the first gin that uses the Muscat grape in its creation. They select from the best strains in the Mediterranean, and add at the end of the process. This helps to provide a really exquisite taste and exclusive scent.

Overall this is a really inviting gin. It has a smell of juniper which is delightfully followed by delicately sweet and softer notes.
We recommend trying this (at least initially neat). Doing so you really notice the grape. But theres more.... with hints of the sea too. It a fresh gin, easily enjoyed (particularly under a full moon!), on its own - but also works well in a classic g&t.

Perfect Serve

Best served over plenty of ice with a neutral tonic - Fentimans Premium Indian Tonic Water works exceptionally well with this gin. We recommend 50ml of the gin to 150ml of the tonic.

Mix in a large glass filled with ice, and stir gently. Finish the drink with a garnish of an orange slice to really bring out the flavour.
