Aluna Coconut Rum

Created by three friends who love great rum and fresh, natural ingredients, Aluna drinks are made with passion and are totally delicious. Their drinks are mindfully made using natural ingredients and are not overpowered by sugar (they were tired of tasting spirits that were too sweet, with the flavours hidden behind the sugar).   

Their first creation is their ethically sourced, all-natural, toasted coconut rum. It is made from a blend of rums from Guatemala and the Caribbean, and with pure, sustainably sourced coconut water. The Guatemalan rum is made with first press sugar cane and is fermented with yeast from the pineapple plant, creating a light, floral and smooth rum with a natural sweetness. To add character and strength, this is blended with a classic, young Caribbean rum. This elegant and well balanced blend has a fresh coconut taste and a wonderfully smooth mouthfeel. It is not only delicious, but also vegan and gluten free.

Perfect Serve

Aluna coconut rum is super versatile and makes a fantastic mixed drink. Add 50ml of Aluna to a tall glass with ice and add 150ml of your favourite mixer. For a Cubre Libre with a twist, add cola and a wedge of lime, or something fruity, add Three Cents Pink Grapefruit Soda for an Aluna Paloma, or Three Cents Pineapple Soda for a tasty tropical drink.

For the cocktail lovers, Aluna coconut rum makes a tasty Daiquiri. Add 60ml rum, 25ml freshly squeezed lime juice and 15ml agave syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake, shake, shake and strain into a coupe glass, add a twist of lime, and enjoy.
