Heffron Rum was first producted in 2019, marking the 100 year anniversary of the journey the American ship Heffron made through Panama, transporting Czechoslovak legionnaires back to their homeland. It pays tribute to their bravery and determination, fighting for the freedom that we have in Europe today.

Heffron rum is a partnership between a rum distillery in Las Cabras de Pesé in Panama and the Green Tree distillery in the Czech Republic, which also happens to be the oldest distillery in Europe. Francisco Fernández, also known as “Don Pancho” is the master blender and spiritual father of Heffron and with more than 50 years experience has created a delicious selection of Heffron aged rums and rum elixirs which are distilled and matured in Panama before being transported to the Green Tree Distillery for further maturation and bottling.

The Heffron Rum tasting pack is the perfect way to taste all 3 delicious Heffron rums.

Their Original rum has been aged in American white oak barrels for 5 years and has a delicate, slightly sweet taste of vanilla and caramel with a touch of woodiness.

The 10Y Panama Premium Rum s the perfect balance of taste tones and aromas. The recipe is a blend of carefully selected 10 year old rums which have been matured in ex sherry, bourbon and cognac barrels. The masterful blending ensure each cask adds to the rich flavours and aromas found in this rum.

The 5Y Panama Heritige Rum is matured in carefully selected ex bourbon barrels giving the rum its unique character. It has a drier taste with strong woody and delicious notes of tropical fruit.
