Heidell Barrel Aged Gin
Whilst the original Heidell Gin is still a relative newcomer to the gin world, it's one which has already won a Silver award from the London Spirits Competition.
As with the original, this gin is also produced in Naantali, a town located in the Finnish Archipelago - the South West of Finland (west of Helsinki). They utilise as many local ingredients as they can, crystal clear Finnish water, a Dutch still and take inspiration from the Sea, all aged to perfection in Oak.
Taking their award winning Heidell Gin, the Heidell distillery rest it in Oak casks for at least three months. The oak imparts a delightful colour, and imparts unique additional flavours to the gin.
The aroma is classic, but with defined warming notes of vanilla and spice. On the palate the juniper is still present, but is joined by a warmer bouquet of spice, vanilla and an earty oakiness.

Perfect Serve
We like this gin enjoyed simply. Served neat over a large cube of ice. (It does work well with a neutral tonic as well).
