Talisker Dark Storm Whisky
Produced on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, the Talisker distillery is the only functional single malt whisky distillery to be found there.
To create their Dark Storm single malt, Talisker have taken inspiration from the wild, untamed spirit of a full-blown storm (often found around the island). To do this, they use heavily-charred oak casks which ensures an intense smoky flavour is imparted in the whisky. (In fact, it's said that this is the smokiest whisky produced by Talisker)
On the nose there are rich, fruity spices. A touch of brine, and intense aromatic smokiness rounds out the aroma. The palate is delightfully full, and has rich, fruity notes which are joined by a touch of vanilla, smoke, liquorice and spice. The finish is classic for Talisker, with smoke and a touch of chilli. However... this is a dark storm, so these flavours really make themselves known!

Perfect Serve
With it's characteristic Talisker sweetness and a long finish this whisky can easily be enjoyed neat or on the rocks (preferably with a single large cube of ice)
