Four Pillars Navy Strength Gin 70cl
A delicious navy-strength gin, exploding with citrus and asian spices
Description
Four Pillars Navy Strength Gin
Navy strength gins originate in the nineteenth century when gin was thought to be a cure all to the many things encountered whilst at sea. Indeed, The Gimlet was invented by a doctor in the Royal Navy to ward off scurvy, with gin to fortify the constitution and Roses Lime cordial for Vitamin C.
A navy strength gin can support more robust and delicious botanicals from around the world. In their Navy Strength Gin Four Pillars includes Juniper, Coriander, Green Cardamom, Cassia, Star Anise, Lavender, Angelica, Pepperberry, Lemon Myrtle, Orange, Finger Limes, Turmeric and Ginger.
Whilst still in the Four Pillars typical style, this is a really intense, yet smooth gin - which was made for use in cocktails. The native finger limes and fresh ginger give it a power and intensity, the turmeric adds weight to the palate and an earthy (yet fresh) quality. This leaves a sweet juiciness on the palate.

Perfect Serve
Easily enjoyed on its own, with tonic, or as used by bartenders the world over, in the mix for cocktails.
A favourite of ours is a Ginger Mule. In a mule mug filled with ice, add 30ml of Gin, 15ml of fresh lime juice and a couple of dashes of Angostura Bitters. Top up with The Artisan Drinks Co Fiery Ginger Beer and garnish with lime and a sprig of mint.
